Hello, and welcome to Forest Atelier! I’m thrilled to share my passion for nature and early childhood education with you. My love for the outdoors began in my earliest days, having grown up surrounded by the stunning landscapes of Australia. Nature has always been my playground and teacher—whether it was birdwatching, exploring the forest, or devouring every issue of National Geographic I could get my hands on.

After several years in corporate, I began working in forest schools and outdoor schools, immersing myself in the world of nature-based learning.

I’ve also had the privilege of working in a Reggio Emilia-inspired preschool, where I experienced firsthand the joy and growth that comes when children are encouraged to lead their learning journey, a philosophy I am deeply committed to bringing into Forest Atelier.

As a certified child first aid practitioner, I am equipped to handle emergencies and ensure the well-being of every child in my care. I personally lead every session, so parents can feel reassured knowing their little ones are always supervised by someone who is both qualified and committed to their safety and growth.

As I continue to grow in this journey, I am currently undertaking my Forest School Leader Level 3 Certification, which is accredited and delivered by experienced educators from the UK, where the forest school approach is widely practiced and respected. This certification equips me with the specialised skills to guide children safely and meaningfully through nature, allowing me to bring the best of outdoor education expertise to our sessions here. I have undergone training in woodland, woodworking and campfire skills in order to create a safe, enriching environment for children to explore, experiment, and connect with nature and each other.

My goal is to foster a space where children feel free to be themselves, follow their curiosity, and build resilience and confidence that will last a lifetime.
